Very common in horses and dogs. There are 30 studies currently
recruiting at http://www.ClinicalTrials.gov - none using stem cells.
Search this group for cartilage and you will be directed to several
ideas going about. If you see any that gets your attention, contact
the researcher through the university/hospital listed in the article
(google: name, place, biography this often gets you to a page
w/email address. Be sure to mention their work. They are suckers for
appreciation : )
